Within thematic week “Future of Community and Mobility”, representatives of the Ministry of Physical Planning, Construction and State Assets of the Republic of Croatia, along with experts from Croatia and Japan, will hold on May 26th 2025 workshop “Resilient Settlements: Prevention and Reconstruction – Lessons Learned from Japan and Croatia”.
The workshop in two parts will explore strategies and approaches to disaster prevention and reconstruction through the prism of Japan and Croatia, faced with significant challenges and developing innovative solutions in response to natural disasters.
The main goal of the workshop is to identify key lessons that can be applied globally to build more resilient communities through lectures and sharing experiences from both countries, where the development and implementation of new solutions are supported by smart systems of publicly available data.
